Reflect don’t Deflect
Updated: May 15, 2021
I always reflect before going to sleep. It has become subconscious for me to reflect on the day or week as I drift off to sleep.
It takes practice to keep your mind on the good and not allow problems of the day to overwhelm you. Choose to use them all as learning experiences. Rather than consistently running negative thoughts through your head, realize the time you had to take action for that particular moment/situation has passed by. You have tomorrow, and that day will have its own set of challenges.
Continue pushing forward. Remind yourself why you are grateful, and wake up in gratitude rather upset at something you may not be able to change.
